Have You Been Told You’re Not a Dental Implant Candidate?
With Mini Dental Implants, You May Be.

Mini dental implants and mono implants are a smaller, less invasive alternatives to traditional dental implants. Mini dental implants are non-surgical because they are about half the size of traditional implants but still just as strong.

Because of their versatility, mini dental implants can also be used in cases when traditional implants are ineffective. They have numerous advantages, including faster healing time, less pain, fewer dental appointments, and lower cost which is why we refer to mini dental implants as affordable dental implants.

Types of Implants

Patients can have teeth replaced with dentures that snap onto the implants and are removable by the patient to clean each day. This option is especially great for people who suffer from loose dentures and just want something more secure. The upper denture has 6-8 implants and the lower denture has 4-6 implants.

Implant Supported Denture

Upper: $12,980 Lower: $10,490

This option is a hybrid of materials that allow for a smaller prosthesis than an implant-supported denture. This is removable by the patient to clean it daily and snap back onto the implants. It is supported by 6-8 implants.

Hybrid Implant Supported Denture

$13,950 per arch

This option is a fixed option that is removable by our dentist but not by the patient. It has a very natural feel in that the bulkiness of a denture is completely removed. This is made of zirconium porcelain and is supported by 6-8 implants. This option is wonderful for someone who does not want a denture or does not want to have to take it out every day.

Fixed Detachable Implant Supported Bridge

$16,950 per arch

This option, also known as a “Roundhouse” is the most like natural teeth in that they are not removed by the patient or the dentist. This is also made of zirconium porcelain. For this option, we place 10-12 implants to give the most stability for this permanently fixed option.

Fixed Non-removable Implant Supported Bridge

Upper: $$19,950 per arch

Prices may vary depending on any additional work required (extractions, bone grafts, etc.). All 4 options require maintenance and cleaning visits. With the removable options, we would replace rubber O-rings to help keep the implants and appliance from loosening or trauma. The frequency of visits is determined by our dentist.

Learn How Dental Implants Can Change Your Life

Frequently Asked Questions

Mini dental implants can last you for your entire life.

Like with your natural teeth, proper care and routine maintenance can keep your implants healthy. A healthy implant can last forever with proper oral hygiene.

False! Studies have shown that success rates between mini and conventional implants are equal, if not better with mini dental implants.

Mini Implants are usually between 2.0 and 3.0 mm in diameter. Due to this size, 99% of cases involving minis let us place them in the existing bone without the need for bone grafting. Since mini implants are smaller, we can place more of them and distribute the forces among more implants than you would otherwise be able to with conventional implants. For example, when we place an implant-supported bridge (roundhouse) we use anywhere from 6 to 12 implants depending on your bone and other factors. That allows us to distribute the forces of the bridge more naturally among a greater number of implants. This is comparable to the root structure of your natural teeth.

Yes, you can! However, just like your natural teeth, you should be cautious of foods that may damage them.

Minis are like your natural teeth. If you intend on chewing hard candy, nuts, ice, pork rinds, and other really hard foods, you can damage your natural teeth and/or your implants.

Yes.

Like your natural teeth, dental implants can build up with plaque, food debris, and tartar. We suggest a professional implant maintenance cleaning at our office every 3-6 months, or as recommended by our dentist. Additionally, practice good oral hygiene by brushing and water flossing daily.

Any age, as long as you have your permanent teeth.

From high school hockey accidents to 99-year-olds looking to eat a steak for their 100th — anyone with permanent teeth can qualify for dental implants. With proper care, mini implants can last for your life and will likely improve the quality of your life. No one is too young or old for a confident smile.
